BALLINA RSL SUB BRANCH YOUTH CLUB

The Youth Club is governed by the Sub Branch and the RSL Youth Council in Sydney.  The Youth Club, by tradition, relies heavily on volunteers for assistance in administration, instruction, fund raising ect.. This enables the club to keep the costs to a minimum.  Volunteer’s are required from parents to grandparents ect, to assist with the daily running of the club.  If you can help, please talk to the office staff.

RSL SUB BRANCH is an association made up of men and women who have

  1. Returned from active service
  2. Ex Service Members of the Defence Force
  3. Currently Serving Members of the Defence Force

The Sub Branch has an office within the Ballina RSL Club LTD. (Ph 0266 860133)

The Sub Branch also sponsor many other organisations within the Ballina Shire.  Some of these organisations include Legacy, local schools and the Ex-Serviceman’s home just to name a few.  If you have or know a serving member of the Defence Force, inform our Sub Branch, so that we can support them with food parcels and newsletters.

HOW CAN YOU HELP

Consider VOLUNTEERING, join the committee to help raise funds.  Spread the word if your children enjoy themselves.  As the club develops we will be able to employ additional instructors and start new activities.

Consider that many of the problems in society from the 50′s and 60′s, are very similar to those of today.  By working together, we can develop our young people into good Australian Citizans.  The basic qualities that we all want for our country, community and our kids are RESPECT – TEAMWORK – HONESTY AND INTEGRITY.
