General Fitness

General Fitness Classes for Males and Females 9 yrs to under 25yrs of age commenced in our club in 2009. The younger members of the group, {+} since inception, have used the sessions to increase their fitness levels before the commencement of the winter sport season, for the most part the older members of the group use the sessions primarily for general fitness.

Their development in confidence, endurance, self discipline and ability is pleasing to see.

Class times: Mon – Thurs 4pm to 5 pm and 5pm to 6pm.

To assist both parents and their children to gain an understanding of what the training sessions involve, we offer the first session free.

To assist the younger members of the group, the sessions are fun in a fun but discplined atmosphere, a skill leanred within the group is the need for safe interaction between a range of ages, this is always stressed before the commencement of each class.

To ensure that children enjoy a varied program, and to ensure that they keep coming back we run a range of different training activies, these include (but are not limited to):
1. Circuit Training
2. Boxercise
3. Step Exercise
4. Varied Ball Skills
5. Co ordination Exercise/Stretching
6. Agility Exercise
7. Free Standing Strength Exercise

All of our instructors are volunteers and we pride ourselves on on having a wealth of support to assist the club. Feedback is always welcomed in a respectful manner.

Volunteer qualified instructors are always welcome to assist.
